Euclid Chemical in collaboration with Unifi offers PSI Fiberstrand REPREVE 225, a synthetic microfiber for concrete reinforcement. The

Fiberstrand REPREVE 225, is made of polyester material from recycled plastic bottles. Consequently, every pound of Fiberstrand REPREVE 225 uses 10 waste bottles that means less nonbiodegradable junks in the landfill.

The Fiberstrand REPREVE 225 is added to a concrete mixture at the rate of 0.5 lb/yd³ (0.3 kg/m³) and as a result it minimizes the formation of plastic shrinkage, cracking and spalling in concrete.

The Fiberstrand REPREVE 225 synthetic microfiber is well suited for walkways, slabs-on-grade, overlays and toppings, wall systems, foundations, shotcrete, precast and prestressed structures, composite steel decks and decorative concrete.
