Valens Unveils Advanced Chipset Family for LiDARS, Cameras and Radars

Valens Semiconductor introduces the Valens VA7000 chipset family. First, there is the VA7044 which has a Deserializer for the extension of up to four CSI-2 channels over MIPI A-PHY, for up to to 15m/50ft, with support of 4 x 2-8Gbps, and additional input of a local D-PHY CSI-2 link, Output of 2 X CSI-2 links, each to be configured as C-PHY or D-PHY, and support for up to 16 CSI-2 virtual channels on each CSI-2 link; each can be routed to any output, including duplication.
Next, there is the VA7042 which features Deserializer for the extension of up to two CSI-2 channels over MIPI A-PHY, for up to 15m/50ft, with support of 2 x 2-8Gbps, and additional input of a local D-PHY CSI-2 link, Output of 2 X CSI-2 links, each to be configured as C-PHY or D-PHY, and Support for up to 16 CSI-2 virtual channels on each CSI-2 link; each can be routed to any output, including duplication.

There is the VA7031 which provides a Serializer for input and extension of a CSI-2 channel over MIPI A-PHY, for up to 15m/50ft, Support for bandwidth of 2-8Gbps, with up to four inline connectors, and  Support for up to 16 CSI-2 virtual channels on the CSI-2 link.

Finally, there is the VA7021 which has a Cost-optimized serializer for input and extension of a CSI-2 channel over MIPI A-PHY, for up to 15m/50ft, Support for bandwidth of 2-4Gbps, with up to four inline connectors, and Support for up to 16 CSI-2 virtual channels on the CSI-2 link.
