Advanced Micro Devices and American Industrial Computer Team Up to Introduce Cutting-Edge Edge Server

Recently, the American Industrial Computer (AIC) announced its collaboration with Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) to introduce its new edge server, powered by 4th Gen AMD EPYC™ Embedded processors. Edge computing is a technology that enables data processing and analysis to be done closer to the source, reducing latency and improving real-time decision-making capabilities. The 4th Gen AMD EPYC™ Embedded processors are built with advanced security features, including Secure Root of Trust technology and AMD Memory Guard, which helps protect against memory-based attacks.

The AIC edge server also offers high-speed connectivity options, including multiple 10GbE and 2.5GbE LAN ports, as well as dual 25GbE and 10GbE SFP+ ports, making it easy to integrate into existing network infrastructures.

Additionally, the AIC edge server is designed with scalability in mind, allowing for easy expansion and customization as the needs of the business grow and change. The server supports up to 64 cores and 128 threads, as well as up to 2TB of memory and multiple storage options.
