SparkCharge Takes Charge: Expanding Mobile EV Charging Fleet Service Nationwide

SparkCharge, a startup that offers on-demand, portable electric vehicle (EV) charging, has announced that it is expanding its mobile charging fleet service nationwide. This move comes after the company secured $3.3 million in funding to accelerate its growth and expand its service offerings.

The SparkCharge mobile charging system consists of a compact, modular battery pack called the Roadie, which can be easily transported and deployed to charge EVs on the go. The company's mobile charging service allows EV owners to request a charging unit through a smartphone app, and have it delivered to their location within minutes.

With the expansion of its mobile charging fleet service, SparkCharge aims to make it easier for EV owners to find charging stations, and reduce range anxiety for those who may not have access to charging infrastructure. The company plans to deploy its mobile charging units in various locations across the country, including urban centers, rural areas, and at events like music festivals and sporting events.

SparkCharge's innovative approach to mobile EV charging has earned it recognition from industry leaders and investors alike. The company has won numerous awards and grants, including the $1 million grand prize in the 2018 43North startup competition, and funding from notable investors like Mark Cuban, Chris Bosh, and Daymond John.

The company's CEO, Joshua Aviv, believes that the expansion of SparkCharge's mobile charging fleet service will help accelerate the adoption of electric vehicles by making charging more accessible and convenient for consumers.

"Electric vehicles are the future of transportation, but range anxiety and lack of charging infrastructure remain significant barriers to adoption," Aviv said. "By expanding our mobile charging fleet service nationwide, we're making it easier for people to charge their EVs wherever they are, and helping to accelerate the transition to a more sustainable transportation system."

Overall, SparkCharge's expansion of its mobile EV charging fleet service represents a significant step forward in the effort to build a more sustainable and accessible transportation system. With its innovative technology and commitment to making EV charging more convenient and accessible, SparkCharge is well-positioned to play a key role in the transition to a cleaner, greener future.
