Collaboration Anywhere, Anytime: Audi Vehicles Now Equipped with Webex by Cisco's First Hybrid Work App!

The world is changing, and so is the way we work. The COVID-19 pandemic has forced everyone to adapt to remote working, and now, more and more businesses are adopting hybrid work environments. Hybrid work means employees can work remotely or in the office. Cisco's Webex collaboration app is leading the way in hybrid work technology with its latest app for Audi vehicles.

In partnership with Volkswagen Group's software company CARIAD and Samsung subsidiary HARMAN, Webex is equipping select Audi 2024 model year vehicles with Meetings capabilities for seamless collaboration. Drivers can now join and participate in meetings easily, minimizing distractions; and video happens only when parked, ensuring a safe collaboration experience.

Simple Setup

The app comes pre-installed in the vehicle or can be downloaded from the in-vehicle Audi Application Store. Once installed, users need to integrate their Webex account to the vehicle to start using it. The setup process is simple, and users can start collaborating through their Audi vehicle right away.

Purpose-Built Safety Features

Safety is a top priority for Audi and Cisco. The Webex app has been designed with purpose-built safety features, enabling drivers to join meetings easily without getting distracted. While the video feature only works when the vehicle is parked, the audio feature can be used while driving. The app displays important information on the car's screen to minimize driver distractions.

AI-Enhanced Meetings

The Webex app is powered by Webex's full immersive collaboration experience. With features like AI-enhanced meetings, the app offers a personalized and interactive experience. Users can enjoy the full scope of Webex's capabilities, including screen sharing, whiteboarding, and voice recognition. This way, drivers can be as productive on the road as they are in the office.

Benefits of Webex app for Audi Vehicles

With the Webex app, drivers benefit from increased flexibility in how they work. They can collaborate with colleagues remotely, without being glued to their desks. They can work on the go, from the comfort of their Audi vehicles, with the same quality collaboration experience they would have in the office.

The app is perfect for sales professionals who are always on the road, or executives who need to be connected to their teams while traveling. With capabilities such as real-time messaging, voice, and video, users can stay connected without being tethered to their desks.

The Webex app for Audi vehicles is a game-changer for those who are looking for a safe and convenient collaboration experience while on the move. With purpose-built safety features, AI-enhanced meetings, and simple setup, users can enjoy all the benefits of Webex's collaboration tools while in their Audi vehicles. This app is just the beginning, and we can expect more innovative solutions from Cisco as we move towards a hybrid work environment.
