Revving Up in Scranton: Hunter Truck's New Home on the Horizon!

Hey there, truck enthusiasts and loyal customers! Big news from Scranton, Pa. - Hunter Truck is gearing up to move into its brand-new digs this fall, and we couldn't be more excited! Our shiny new facility, located at 2900 Stafford Avenue, is set to open its doors on January 6, 2025. We're thrilled to continue serving the greater Scranton area with all the bells and whistles of a state-of-the-art Peterbilt dealership.

Our president, Jeffrey Hunter, is pretty stoked about this move, too. He’s all about bringing personalized service to our Scranton customers, with an array of offerings including sales, parts, service, body shop repairs, and leasing. Our new place is not just bigger (a whopping 45,000 square feet bigger!) but also better equipped to handle all your heavy-duty trucking needs with a whopping 24 service bays and a separate 13,000 square foot body shop on site.

We’re not just building a facility; we’re crafting an experience. We've designed our new Scranton location with our customers in mind, featuring an easily accessible property and a covered drive-under canopy. But wait, there’s more! The advanced, air-conditioned service area is sure to keep things cool, even when the task at hand gets heated.

Justin Morgan, our general manager, is grateful for the patience of our employees and customers through this transition. The new facility will bring us closer to our Scranton clientele, allowing us to deliver top-notch, efficient service. The space isn’t just about serving more trucks; it’s about serving them better.

Now, let's talk about our new body shop, which is all set to be a game-changer in the region. Michael Santarsiero, our body shop manager, is pumped about the cutting-edge tools and technologies we’re bringing in. From frame repairs to wheel alignments and refinishing, we've got the tools to turn any repair job into a masterpiece.

Our body shop will feature a Global Finishing Solutions (GFS) downdraft paint baking booth, detail bays, BeeLine frame press, and Hunter alignment equipment. This setup isn’t just about fixing trucks; it’s about transforming them. With our new facility, we’re ready to establish direct repair agreements with all major insurance carriers, ensuring seamless service for our customers.

Our parts department is another highlight of the new Scranton facility. With over $4.5 million in parts inventory, John Wilson, our parts manager, assures that we will be ready to meet the needs of our customers every day, twice a day. Whether you're swinging by our convenient showroom or dialing into our call center, our parts team is prepped and ready to assist.

Offering twice daily parts delivery to customers in eastern New York, northeast Pennsylvania, and northeast New Jersey, we’re all about getting you what you need, when you need it. With original equipment manufacturer (OEM) parts from Peterbilt and aftermarket brands like TRP and JTP, your truck is in good hands with us.

So, gear up, Scranton! Hunter Truck is ready to roll into town with a facility that’s as dedicated to quality and service as you are to the open road. See you soon at our new home!
