MOPIC Introduces OpenXR Support and Unveils 3D Lens for Smartphones.

ANYANG, South Korea – MOPIC, a frontrunner in glasses-free 3D technology, has announced its participation in CES 2025, where it will introduce its light-field 3D technology alongside other groundbreaking solutions. Visitors can find MOPIC at booth #35226 in the LVCC South Hall 2, as the company aims to attract global partners, particularly in the U.S. market. MOPIC’s light-field 3D technology enhances flat displays by incorporating 3D optical lenses and software to produce a depth effect, eliminating the need for 3D glasses or extra devices. This advancement creates an immersive experience resembling a view through a window rather than just observing a screen.

Furthermore, its lenticular 3D displays provide superior visual quality at a competitive price, while switchable 3D displays facilitate smooth transitions between 2D and 3D modes, enhancing versatility and convenience. These various display options cater to both industrial sectors and general consumers.

Real-Time 3D Camera Playback and OpenXR Compatibility

MOPIC features real-time 3D camera playback, making applications like video calls and in-car displays more dynamic. Recently, the company also introduced OpenXR compatibility, enabling Unreal-based content to be viewed in 3D without the need for conversion, thus broadening the user experience with more expansive and immersive 3D applications.

Smartphone 3D Lens and Japanese Market Expansion

At CES 2025, MOPIC will showcase its smartphone 3D lens solution, which successfully launched in Japan last year. This innovative accessory attaches to smartphones like a screen protector, allowing users to view 3D content without additional devices. Specifically optimized for iPhones, the lens is compatible with models from the iPhone 13 to the latest series, as well as select Android devices, including Google Pixel.

Customized Hardware and Software Solutions for B2B

Targeting B2B clients, MOPIC presents tailored hardware and software solutions. For smartphones, the company offers attachable 3D lenses and software designed to enhance the 3D viewing experience.
